Maintaining your style after the baby arrives can be a little challenging. As a mother, your instinct is to meet the needs of your baby before anything else. While taking care of your baby is important, it is also important to make yourself a priority.
My style has changed a bit since I've a had a baby. My goal now is to maintain a fashion-forward look, while still feeling comfy. Don't get me wrong, most of my days are spent wearing a big hoodie and yoga pants, and looking like I just stepped out of a Rob Zombie movie. I even go to the grocery store without wearing makeup, which is something I would NEVER do before having a baby. But if I'm visiting family, going to the mall, or going to dinner and a movie, I take the time to put on makeup, blow dry my hair, and pick out a cute outfit.
If you feel good about yourself, you will be a happier mommy. It's okay to make time for yourself. Just because you are taking care of yourself, doesn't mean you aren't taking care of your baby. Don't be scared to look fab while showing off your newest bundle of joy. Plus, I'm sure Daddy will love it!!! ;)
